it looks like it is included in the current development branch. you have a couple of choices: #1. wait 6 to 12 months for your OS vendor (SUSE) to update to gcc4.3 (which is not released yet). #2. download the source code for gcc/gfortran and compile the current development branch yourself. for instructions see http://gcc.gnu.org/svn.html and http://gcc.gnu.org/http://gcc.gnu.org/install/ you will want to check out 'trunk' and compile it from scratch. #3. Some volunteers provide binaries of the lastest gfortran version on regular basis. See http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/GFortran for more information.
