Compiler settings of gcc 4.1.2 to achieve fast compile times as with gcc-2.95

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,

I have just switched from the old gcc-2.95 to gcc 4.1.2 (Debian Linux on a Pentium 4).
The new version has much more features and options, however the compile time
as increased as well.
What options on the gcc 4.1.2 do I have to select to achieve similar compilation results
(with a comparable compile time) as with the option -O2 on the gcc-2.95?

Thanks for any help on that!

Regards

Mathias
