Re: asm conflict question

That I did not know.  I had shown the construct
to a couple of "C" experts I know, and they were
quite clueless.  Having a search phrase to
use helps!  I am reading an Extended ASM
Manual even as I type this message.

It's in the gcc manual.  Section 5.34, Assembler Instructions with C
Expression Operands.
