Hello Carlos

Your patch http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2005-12/msg00790.html seems to break cross-compiling for windows, see attached forwarded message.

Hi list

I run into errors trying to compile the current subversion state. I compile with this command:

cd $GCC_BUILD_DIR
$GCC_SRC_DIR/configure --prefix=$GCC_OUT_DIR \
--build=`$GCC_SRC_DIR/config.guess` --host=i686-pc-mingw32 --target=i686-pc-mingw32 \ --with-sysroot=$GCC_OUT_DIR/sys-root --with-build-sysroot=$GCC_OUT_DIR/sys-root \
    --enable-languages=c,c++,java \
    --with-as=$AS --with-ld=$LD --with-gcj=i686-pc-mingw32-gcj\
    --with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld \
    --disable-nls --disable-debug --disable-shared --disable-checking \
--enable-threads=win32 --disable-win32-registry --enable-sjlj-exceptions \
    --enable-libgcj
make

My compiler is a gcc 4.1.1 that compiles for i686-pc-mingw32.

The first problem is:
$GCC_SRC_DIR/libstdc++-v3/libsupc++/eh_personality.cc:434: error: '_Unwind_GetIPInfo' was not declared in this scope

Inserting #include "unwind-generic.h" before #include "unwind-cxx.h" solves this one. Inserting it anywhere after "unwind-cxx.h", won't work.
I don't know if this is correct or not, just solves the first problem...

Ok, next Problem:
$GCC_BUILD_DIR/i686-pc-mingw32/libstdc++-v3/include/limits:1011: error: '__FLT_HAS_DENORM__' was not declared in this scope $GCC_BUILD_DIR/i686-pc-mingw32/libstdc++-v3/include/limits:1068: error: '__DBL_HAS_DENORM__' was not declared in this scope $GCC_BUILD_DIR/i686-pc-mingw32/libstdc++-v3/include/limits:1125: error: '__LDBL_HAS_DENORM__' was not declared in this scope

Here I'm stuck because I'm unable to find the defining header or source file for these constants... Any ideas?

regards
Marco
