Thanks for pointing out that silly issue.
I now provided the path to
--with-headers=--with-headers=/opt/crosstool/mipsel-unknown-linux-gnu/sys-include/
and overcome those errors.
However, I am now facing a new set of error messages as below:

Were the target headers where you told them being
(/home/hda7/linux-malta/include)
when starting the build ? What doesn't exist, cannot be found...
