Hi Cédric, This is not the correct forum for Cygwin questions. Anyway... Using your Cygwin SETUP.EXE program, make sure you've opted to INSTALL the GCC components, under the dev (or is it devel or development?) tab. The default install of Cygwin SETUP.EXE is a rather minimal set. If you have the time, bandwidth, and the hard drive space, you can have Cygwin SETUP.EXE install darn-near-everything. Or you can be selective. But just remember that the default Cygwin SETUP.EXE settings does not install GCC for you. I've been using Cygwin for years, and it has been very reliable for me. Unix-like alternatives for Windows include MS-SFU, MKS, Interix, and Uwin. Good luck, --Eljay
