Template Book

Its clear that I'm lacking in knowledge of templates and its  
impacting what I can accomplish.

Anyone have specific suggestions on a book on Templates.  I'm still  
looking for a good book on C++.  I've been programming C for 25  
years.  I prefer terse, to the point, books.  I guess, for that  
matter, a book on libstdc++ as well as a book on the new tr1 stuff.

Also, if anyone here can suggest a mailing list or forum for C++  
questions.  I consider this list more specific to gcc help (help with  
GNU's compiler -- not C or C++ help).  (I don't have a news feed  
unless there is a public feed I can go to somewhere.)
