Hi All, We are facing a strange problem with the version information of the shared object (.so) file when we try to compile using "gcc-2.95.3 on Solaris" and "gcc-2.96 on Linux" platform we are not able to see the version information using the what command. This behavior is observed for release versions of the binaries only. The Debug version show the version perfect. Can anybody tell any solution to this problem? Regards, Atul.
