Which platforms support -fvisibility?

Hi,

I asked this question a few weeks ago, but got no answer.

The GCC docs seem to say that -fvisibility is only supported on a subset of ELF 
platforms. Is -fvisibility limited to ELF? On which platforms, if any, is it not 
supported?
