Well, the "Model Name:" line should tell you what you want, shouldn't it? I tried in 3 different CPUs, and got: model name : Pentium III (Katmai) model name : AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1800+ model name : Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 2.66GHz so, answering your question... yes, I guess.
