We are trying to cross-compile gcc-3.3.3 for
simple scalar architecture using a i386-intel-linux*
host.The target which we have specified is
sslittle-na-sstrix which was supported upto
gcc-2.7.2.3 (i have tried it successfully) but is not
supported by gcc-3.3.3.
The binutils used by us are binutils-2.9.We want
to simulate the output of gcc-3.3.3 on Simple Scalar
LLC (http://www.simplescalar.com) simulator for which
we are also using the toolchain consisting of :
simpleutils-990811 and simplesim v 3.0
Our query is regarding the compatibility of
gcc-3.3.3 for simple scalar architecture. If yes,
kindly suggest how to proceed.
