Hi,

yes you are missing the library. Normally it is placed in
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXm.* you can get the sources from
http://www.opengroup.org/openmotif/ but you should be
able to get binary packages as well (could be called
something like libmotif-dev, openmotif etc.).
