Build Error GCC-3.4.3

Need some help with the following error received during compile of 
gcc-3.4.3
Worked around this problem by not enabling language Java.

make: *** [configure-target-libjava] Error 1
..................

There were no Java build  problems encountered with GCC-3.3.2 

Any help would be appreciated.
