using gdb with code compiled by sun cc

Hi,
I want to use gdb wth code compiled by sun cc.  I did tried to
research for this topic on the web but i am unsuccessful so far.  Can
i use gdb with code compiled by sun cc compiler?  If yes how well is
it supported?  Thanks for your help.  -Sanjay.
