in the name of God

Dear sir/madam

I have downloaded the latest release of gcc (3.4.2) and tried several
times to install it on Red Hat Linux 9 without any luck. I tried
upgrading to latest version of "binutils" as well but this didn't help
either. The failure point is here:
------
make[4]: *** No rule to make target `src/x86/sysv.S', needed by
`src/x86/sysv.lo'. Stop.

I'm not sure if I am writing for the right person, so thanks for your
patience if I should not right to you and for your help if I should.
