Build failed on solaris9

Well..I had to do this 'old trick' again:


        % CONFIG_SHELL=/bin/ksh
        % export CONFIG_SHELL


I have not had to do that in a LONG time.

Now, gcc 3.4.0 built fine.

So something broke along the way it seems.
