I hope that I have the correct forum, if not please
point me in the correct
direction, this is my first post here.
I have written a simple command line application in
Java (1.4.0) which posts
multipart requests to a website I have built. (It
posts images to a site by
searching through a directory structure; along with
the images it sends
information like its name, description etc). When
compiled to java bytecode
and run using java.exe it works fine.
I would love to be able to compile this program to a
windows executable and
have been trying to get GCJ to do this. I am using GCJ
version 3.4. After
getting past a few problems with unimplemented methods
it compiles.
When I attempt to run the executable the submission of
form data fails. I
have pasted below a log from my application showing
the contents of the
request to be sent, however my application server logs
swear blind that
although it received a post, there was absolutely
nothing in it. I have also
attached an exception thrown by the standalone
application at this point,
not sure if that is a red herring or not.
I have attached the source code for my class which
submits the posts. If
anyone could see something obviously wrong which is
causing this to fail I
would be very thankful.
