About upgrading the compiler sources from 3.3.2 to 3.4

I have already the 3.3.2 sources and the latest version of libstdc++-v3.
However, the latest version of the library does not seem to compile with
the older sources (3.3.2). I have successfully compiled 3.3.2 with it's
default library however. Now, I was told to get the latest sources (3.4
mainline), so I did a bit of probing, and am currently downloading the
files: gcc-core-3.4-20040128.tar.bz2 and gcc-g++-3.4-20040128. Will it
be enough to compile the c and c++ parts of gcc, or will I need to get
anything else?
