Hi Valerie,

Looks like an Oracle issue, not a GCC issue.

What does...
  ldd /st/ora920/OraHome/lib/libclntsh.so
...display?

Was libclntsh.so compiled with RedHat's gcc 2.96?  Or was it compiled with
GNU's gcc (2.95 or 3.x)?
