Solaris 9 problem

Hello.

I have a Sun Solaris 9 (SunOS 5.9) server with GCC 3.3.2, which includes
libstdc++.so.5.0.5. In trying to install htdig 3.1.6, the ./configure
script is not able to find libstdc.

I've tried the "solution" posted at http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q3.6, but
this seems to refer to an older version of libstdc++ and does not work.

Can you suggest a solution?
