Compiling options on HP-UX with gcc 3.2

Dear Sirs,

I need some help on compiling on HP-UX (using gcc ver 3.2). The devel
platform is HP-UX
B.11.00 U 9000/811.

I need to know which is/are the option/s to compile with the 1 byte memory
alignment. I need this hint because I have "bus error" message (and
coredump) when I use odd memory addresses.

Moreover, I would like to know which is/are the option/s or the precompiler
directive/s used to
generate 32-bit code on a 64-bit HP-UX platform.

Thanks a lot

Regards

Andrea Z.
