RE: gcc and search path

It seems to me that the specs file could be used to redirect where GCC
went for things, but I don't recall any of the details (it was a long
time ago that I tried to do it).  Perhaps someone who understands the
specs file can give some real insight into that.  Otherwise, that might
be a direction for you to direct your searchings in.
