Hi,
Iam trying to install gcc 3.3.1 on Solaris sparc 2.6 platform.
Since I dont have root priveleges, I downloaded the source and
built it using the following commands,
(Iam running GNU binutils ver 2.14)
/home/vseshan/gcc-3.3.1/configure
--prefix=/home/vseshan/local/gcc-3.3.1/
--with-local-prefix=/home/vseshan/loca
