Hello,
I am having some perplexing problems using gcc on my
system. Currently running Interix 2.2 subsystem over
WinXP. According to 'gcc --version' I have:
cygnus-2.7.2-970404

I'm trying to compile a program called MBSystem, and i
get the following (shortened for clarity) error
messages:

/usr/contrib/bin/gcc -c -DOTHER -DBYTESWAPPED -DGMT3.3
io.c
In file included from mr1pr_defines.h:71,
		 from io.c:45:
/dev/fs/C/SFU/usr/include/rpc/xdr.h:98: syntax error
before '*'
/dev/fs/C/SFU/usr/include/rpc/xdr.h:98: 'bool-t'
declared as function returning a function
/dev/fs/C/SFU/usr/include/rpc/xdr.h:109: 'x_getlong'
declared as function returning a function

It seems like it is trying to compile the xdr.h file
(Sun RPC), and i understand that it is not actually
supposed to do this! I'm thinking there has got to be
some flag I can use to avoid this error.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
