Hi, i have install the glibc 2.3.2 and i have launch the make 16371 minutes ago ( near of 11.5 day ) my system is a compaq 266Mhz and i have 64 meg of RAM and 192 Meg of swap, my cpu run at 99.2% for the make since the beginning, it don't seem to use the swap file and each few minute he use until 28Meg of 30Meg available. The last message on my firts screen is : [make 2] quit the directory /root/glibc-2-3.2/string.h and this message return time after time after time, in fact it is synchronize with the memory use.
