Hello, i use the following g77-version (after a update of suse linux) GNU Fortran (GCC) 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux) Copyright (C) 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc. GNU Fortran comes with NO WARRANTY, to the extent permitted by law. You may redistribute copies of GNU Fortran under the terms of the GNU General Public License. For more information about these matters, see the file named COPYING or type the command `info -f g77 Copying' and have now problems writing direct access files in fortran. I use a test-programm (see attachment test.f) and get the iostat-error 102, but I don't know why. Thank you in advanced Ruediger Brand
