Hi, I'm compiling gcc 3.2 on my redhat linux 7.1 i586 kernel 2.4.20 intel machine with gcc 2.96 I get the following error, In file included from /usr/include/signal.h:358 from config/i386/linux.h:232 from tconfig.h:23 from libgcc2.c:36 /usr/include/bits/sigthread.h:36: error: storage class specified for parameter 'type name' make [2]: *** libgcc/./muldi3.o error 1 make [1]: *** libgcc.a error 2 make: all-gcc error 2 background. I'm upgrading the glibc library from glibc 2.2.2 to glibc 2.3.2. so far, I've upgraded the make to GNU make 3.80, binutils to 2.14, textinfo to 4.6, sed to 4.0.7, any suggestions on what to do next?
