[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all
I am an under graduate student and iam new to gcc...I
had downloaded the gcc 3.3.1 source code through CVS.
I configured and installed the gcc 3.3.1 version using
./configure
and
make install.
my machine is running red hat linux 9. i didnt get any
error messages (other than warnings) and my install is
successfull. Finally i found out that the binary "gcc"
is missing..The other binaries like
g++,gnat,gcj,g77,xgcc and the rest, are all found in
the source/gcc/ directory.. but i could not find the
"gcc" binary.. I would like to know whether the "gcc"
binary will be formed or not. if so ,then in which
directory..Please help me..
regards
shankar
