Summary: Persistent ignore with IRC

Initial Comment:
Hi,
I have tried gaim for irc, but it doesn't seem to have a good ignore system. For example, I receive a message from, say, user Foobar. If i right-click on Foobar's tab in the chat window, there will appear its menu, but there is not any "ignore" button. Ignore menu entry appears only in channels, when we right-click on people who joined the channel, but IRC protocol allows more!

Can this be fixed?

Using gaim 2.0.0beta5 on WinXP SP2

thanks,
-Francesco

Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
Get stuff done quickly with pre-integrated technology to make your job easier.
