I read the changes Hermanator made on the Win32 page: http://cia.navi.cx/stats/author/hermanator/.message/3451269 But didn't understood how to do it. So, here is a little help for those in my case: To set an environmental variable under XP, 2 methods: First one: control panel, system, advanced, environment variables and for exemple, name should be 'gaimhome' and value the path to your profile, something as 'D:\Profiles\Gaim' (your profile will be in a subdirectory name .gaim) By default, the profile is in 'C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_LOGIN_NAME\Application Data'. Second one: Create a txt file and put in: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Environment] "GAIMHOME"="D:\\Profiles\\Gaim" (of course, you'll have to change the path to suit your settings. Notice the double \\ !) Save the file as a .reg. You'll just have to click on it to set the variable next time you reinstall your WinXP. Same applies to the gaimlang variable.
