>Summary: irix 6.5.21f buddy icon in aim conversation doesn\'t display

Initial Comment:
I have an sgi running irix/6.5.21f with atk/1.2.4
glib/2.2.3 gtk+/2.2.4 pango/1.2.5 and gaim/0.72. I
have the show buddy icons box
checked in the conversations/ims preference. I can see
an aim
icon in the buddy list window, but when they im me
there is a
blank space to the left of the warn button in the
conversation window, but no picture.

This bug is fixed in the most recent version of Gaim. If you are
not using the lastest version, please upgrade. If you are using
the latest version, please indicate so and reopen this bug.

the warn icons and such use the gtk stock image code,
because the buddy icon is custom to the conversation, it
can't, and uses different code.

It looks like it is bundled in

129028 Oct 1 14:50 libgdk_pixbuf_xlib-2.0.so.1.4
154440 Oct 1 14:47 libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.1.4
129012 Jul 13 19:39 libgdk_pixbuf_xlib-2.0.so.1.2
154328 Jul 13 19:28 libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.1.2

Is there a better way of checking than looking in
/usr/local/lib?

would the icon show up on the buddy list window if it wasn't
installed?

do you have the gdk-pixbuf stuff installed? i know on debian
with gtk2 its bundled in, but i'm not sure if that is the
case universally.
