Hi,
I am missing a lot the "has closed the conversation window" in version 2.
It is a very powerful option because it allowed by looking the time difference is the user on the other side was closing the conversation on purpose or not. (equal or different than the 3 minutes default)
-is there any research being done to reactivate it, after the protocol change?-is the msn server still sending packets that allow this option to be reactivated?-instead of simply removing it, is it possible to make an option to activate/deactivate it on future versions? (i would like to check the timing problem myself)-what are the inner signals that allow gaim to know that the window was closed on the other side?
let´s make an effort to keep gaim as powerful as it were in version 1.5.0, it´may not be as "cute" as msn but what makes the difference are exactly options like this.
thanks a lot in keeping the good work :)
best regards
bantri

Yes, it has been removed because it had become inaccurateand unreliable after changes in the MSN protocol.
