Summary: Sending SMS using TOC protocol (AIM)

Initial Comment:
First of all, this doesnt relate directly to Gaim, but
i know Gaim has implemented this, so any help would be
great, thanks.

I have been using the AIM TOC protocol to send instant
messages through the web. Everything works fine when
sending to a screen name, but when i try to send a text
message using a phone number, it seems to not work. If
you put "+15124552554" (not my real number) in the TO:
box in an aim window, it will send a text message to
number. But if i try the same thing using the TOC
protocol it wont work.

Is there a different set of commands to send text
messages ?
