Summary: OTR verify access buried deep in plug-ins

Initial Comment:
I wonder why the "verify" option for OTR is buried so
deep? It literally takes me 30 seconds to get to it.
When I contact new buddies who also use OTR, one of the
best plug-in's ever, love it, thanks to all who are
responsible for getting that in there, and a new OTR
session starts and the other person has not been
verified yet, it would seem to me that there might be a
menu item that allows the user to easily choose
verified or not. The developer of the OTR plug-in for
Trillian did it this way & it seems great place to put
it, maybe even perfect place to put it. Alternatively,
it could be put under the OTR button in the lower left
corner. Right now that button only refreshs the OTR
session, but that button might be added to, to allow
user to verify from under that button.

Any one else have any thoughts on this one?

Maybe if enough people agree, we can request the
developer to make a nice improvement to this important
plug-in, especially in the face of a so-called democrat
government is out of control and can tell China not to
do the things that it does itself every day.

Thanks all.

The OTR plugin is a third party plugin; it is not written,
maintained or supported by the gaim project. You should
