Error: 31 Initial Comment: Hi there, I have some problems with starting Gaim. Every time I try to start Gaim a message box pops up saying: Error loading gaim.dll. Error: 31. Unfortanely, I'm not familiar with the error codes, so I don't know exactly what the problem is. Here is some information about my system: I'm running Windows 98, but I have stripped it down with Shane Brooke's 98lite to 98micro. Before I converted to 98micro (so when I was using the full installation of Windows 98), I had no problems using Gaim. I tried to find out whether I'm missing some essential files, so I used FileMon. Indeed, it seemed that I was missing some files. So I copied them from a backup to the appropiate folders, but still this error occurs. Does anyone know about this problem and what to do about it? My only suggestion is to look at the "stripping down" log and try to figure out what has broken gaim by trial and error. FWIW according to http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/debug/base/system_error_codes__0-499_.asp 31 is a pretty generic error code.
