Summary: Text only showing up when using emoticons

Initial Comment:
when I select the emoticons the end users are only
seeing text? Is there a patch that I am missing? Have I
installed wrong? I extract files, folders into the
smileys are and they showup fine for me but not others?
Any info would greatly be appreciated.

I'm assuming you're talking about the MSN custom emoticons.

In which case, gaim currently has no support for sending
them. Smiley themes are for your own enjoyment.
