Category: None Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: Bishop (mtbishop) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: W98 - need my ctrl-enter back. please! Initial Comment: Folks, I don't know to whom this kind of request can be assigned. I'm stumped, though, and I'm just getting more frustrated with the change to deny us an explicit CRTL-Enter option for sending messages. I'm constantly sending people messages like ation will definitely help us here. because 1) a new window grabbed focus, and 2) <enter> sent the message when I thought I was still typing in moz mail. The first problem is unfixable, just yet, but that crtl-enter thing is crucial to have back so it's like mail, icq, skype and every other comms app I have -- also so it screens messages like the above! ;-) I'm almost okay with gaim being the only comms app that no longer offers this feature explicitly. I know it's a simple fix to an RC somewhere: I've been told how to do as much on WinXP, and I understand that win98se is not intentionally supported so I'm generally outta luck. I really should switch to a better desktop, but I can't get everything on linux yet and refuse to pay for windows because it's Just So Bad. So I'm stuck on 98 today and hoping someone has figured this thing out and documented it in a very clear manner which even *I* can follow -- something like the faq but which includes the correct file name and the right key-name would be awesome. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=200235&aid=1439867&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
