Category: None Group: None >Status: Pending Priority: 5 Submitted By: Shamim Islam (kellin) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Individual Away Gone Initial Comment: The new "all away" status combobox with the "auto-custom" message is great. BUT, at work, I need to be able to set my yahoo to away/invisible, and my msn to away/hidden and my one aim account to visible/working and the other work aim account to visible. With the all-away feature, this is not possible. Is the individual away option going to return any time soon? The previous versions all had the option to set all accounts to the same away state as an option. But to allow individual accounts to have their own away statuses. This is the way it should be. Please bring the individual away back as an option - even if it's a menu item that has be enabled. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Luke Schierer (lschiere) Date: 2006-02-16 12:51 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=28833 You can do this with saved states and also with the "new" item in the drop down. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Ankit (rageboy04) Date: 2006-02-14 10:07 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1276942 when you click the +/- for "Use a different status for some accounts," it displays a list of accounts you have on that computer. When you check one of the boxes, a window pops up asking what status you want for that account. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Dason (homsar5675) Date: 2006-02-01 12:37 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1440848 Just set the initial status to invisable and then when you modify the other settings it will ignore the invisable status and do whatever you tell it to. So just make a universal invisable status but modify your aim accounts so that one is away and one is visable. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Shamim Islam (kellin) Date: 2006-02-01 09:53 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=64562 Yes, but that doesn't tell me how to make certain accounts visible and away and others invisible. Am I just not getting it? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Dason (homsar5675) Date: 2006-01-31 15:16 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1440848 You can still do individual away statuses but it requires a little more work. I hope they'll be able to make a few changes to make it easier but as of now you'll need to create a custom away message that you plan on saving. Then after you type your message you should notice under the message box it says "Use a different Status for different Accounts". Just use that to modify what accounts show what you want. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=200235&aid=1419700&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
