Category: None Group: None >Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: Aeridus (aeridus) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: File Transfers Won't Work Initial Comment: I'm currently using Gaim 1.4.0 on a Win98se machine and I can't seem to transfer files to people using regular aim and msn. I can transfer to other Gaim users fine however. Any idea why this is happening? If many people have this problem, has this been fixed in later versions or in the 2.0.0 beta? This is the only thing preventing me from using Gaim all the time, apart from not being able to use webcam or voicechat on the aim and msn protocols. Thanks for any insight, Aaron ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Aeridus (aeridus) Date: 2005-12-20 15:55 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1409524 Well, I managed to get msn transfers working finally as that was an issue with the router, but the people using aim don't even see the file transfer request from me... that just seems odd. Thanks for the tip though. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Luke Schierer (lschiere) Date: 2005-12-20 15:17 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=28833 With both, it might still be necessary to use the network page of preferences beyond the changes that the beta has made. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=200235&aid=1386471&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
