Category: None Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: thumper (southpawami) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Please replace gtk+ 2.6.9a with gtk+ 2.6.9 Initial Comment: There is some issues with changing yahoo rooms with the /join command within the room as well as the upper message in yahoo rooms going wierd with the gtk+ 2.6.9a that is packaged with gaim 1.5.0. After uninstalling gtk+ 2.6.9a, The gtk+ 2.6.9 at http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html fixes these issues. It does not fix the odd handling of Japanese characters, however. Worse than these issues, is the issues with Gimp 2.2.9 . What is happening, which is not Gaim developers fault at all, is that people are installing Gaim with Gtk+ 2.6.9a and then installing Gimp 2.2.9 . Gtk+ 2.6.9a causes a crash in Gimp 2.2.9 in Windows2000/XP whenever a stroke is applied to letters or to the usages of the pen tool. This crash is fixed by uninstalling gtk+ 2.6.9a and then installing gtk+ 2.6.9 at http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html .
