Summary: New Converstaion Window auto popup

Initial Comment:
Is there any way to keep a new conversation window
from automatically popping up in the middle of the
screen when someone initiates a conversation with
you? Its really needed. I hate having to log out every
time I leave my desk so someone can't walk by and see
my conversations! Or worse, have the boss walk up.

It doess not affect the creation of a new window.
I have Gaim 1.5.0 on Windows XP SP2 with both 'Raise IM
window on events' and 'Raise chat window on Events'
unchecked, but new conversation windows still pop up
automatically, in front of everything else, with the focus
on those windows.
Because of this, I have the same problems at work that
slampert mentioned.

Preferences -> IMs/Chats -> Raise windows on events

Haven't tested to see if it will affect the creation of a new
window though.

Furthermore, if you choose to que messages while away,
this won't be a problem -- provided you either manually
minimize the away message or use the respective plugin.
