Category: win32 Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: jeallen (jeallen1055) Assigned to: Daniel Atallah (datallah) Summary: Buddy Window too Tall (wad?) Initial Comment: I keep the Gaim window open on my desktop (dual screen, dell PC, windows XP, all patches). Usually the window is about 2 inches wide and 3 inches tall. Moving the applet to the upper right hand corner (of either screen) causes the minimize dash the full screen/tile icons on the title bar disappear (although the minimize and size options remain available with a right click). and the applet to go to open full-screen height. These icons visually re-appear when the Gaim screen is minimized and then re-opened but only minimize dash is functional (selecting size from right click creates the selected effect around the applet, but it will not re-size). I am however able to resize if I drag the applet down and grab a top corner of the applet, but again, moving it to the upper corner causes it to return to full screen height. Spooks, gobblins... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: jeallen (jeallen1055) Date: 2005-08-19 09:42 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1331158 Ok, I am stupid -- This behavior is related to the "dockable" option. -- But the undock operation seems a little squirrelly maybe when the icons disappear there should be some 'docked' indicator to keep the uninitiated out of trouble. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Luke Schierer (lschiere) Date: 2005-08-18 21:23 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=28833 sounds like its docking itself against the edge of the screen. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=200235&aid=1263476&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _______________________________________________ Gaim-support mailing list Gaim-support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gaim-support
