[PATCHSET 0/4] fstests: improve metadata dump capture helpers

[Date Prev] [Date Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Date Index] [Thread Index]

Hi all,

I have often found it useful to capture metadata dumps from xfs and ext*
filesystems when they are found to be corrupt while running fstests.
The patches in this series enable systematic capturing of dumps from
corrupted fs to aid in debugging regressions and test failures, along
with extra compression knobs so that they don't eat a ton of space.

If you're going to start using this mess, you probably ought to just
pull from my git trees, which are linked below.

This is an extraordinary way to destroy everything. Enjoy!
Comments and questions are, as always, welcome.
