Hi, fontconfig 2.9.0 is out, which contains a lot of bug fixes, improvements and enhancements. it's new release for the first time in about 2 years 4 months. please see README for the summary of the changes and ChangeLog for the details. Unfortunately I'm having a trouble to upload the files to the appropriate place. so I've put them at http://people.freedesktop.org/~tagoh/fontconfig/ for workaround. hopefully it will appears at http://www.freedesktop.org/software/fontconfig/release/ shortly.
