Hi, Gen-Paul,

For what it is worth, I created a command-line utility that will tell
you precisely about font coverage:

         Fontaine
         http://unifont.org/fontaine/
         svn co https://fontaine.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/fontaine

Sample usage:

        fontaine --text --hide-fragmentary --show-missing some_font.ttf
