Fontconfig - font directory search order.

Hi,

I have a japanese font that resides in one directory
and a universal font that resides in another. There
are some characters in the japanese font that have
conflicting unicode value with the universal font,
which basically means when the font is being looked up
the wrong character could get displayed if the search
order goes universal then japanese.

Is there a way to specify the search order in the
fontconfig file to first look in the directory that
holds the japanese font?

If the search order cannot be set, is there another
way to do this?

Thanks,
Barath.
