I've committed my patch to replace /fontdir/fonts.cache-2 with /var/cache/fontconfig/(md5-hash).cache-2. All caches need to be rebuilt in their new locations. I forgot to make the Makefile create the /var/cache/fontconfig directory though. Can someone send a patch to do that? Also if anyone has any comments on this new approach, it would be good to send them to the list now. pat
