Configuration File Format

Hello,

I have a question related to the configuration file.

Is there a way to turn off the default of the cache file so that
the .fonts.cache-1 file will not be created for the per-user cache?

i.e. can I not generate the .fonts.cache-1 file when I run a GTK application
for example?

Sharon
