In the case of fontconfig, the script should run 'fc-cache -f' to rebuild all of the system cache files. In the case of 'urw-fonts-2.0-14mdk', it should run 'fc-cache' to create new cache files for the newly installed fonts. Similar problems exist with the other font packages.
