M9.1 kde - ghostscript fontmapping

Mandrake 9.1
Kde only.

kword with Helvetica font setting.
The compose window character setting is OK,
but in print preview and the actual printed document the character
spacing is too close.

How to fix ?

Looks to me like some font setting are not set up correctly ?
